Gold Upgrade is an option available to be purchased with certain membership types (as specified in the Annexure), offering additional benefits when added to a membership. Gold upgrades entitle the holder to priority access to purchase an AFL Grand Final ticket, subject to the Club's participation.
Season Reserved Seat, Western Stand Reserved Seat, Western Stand Unreserved, Season General Admission, Victorian PAYG, Victorian Ultimate and Interstate are the only categories of membership eligible for Gold upgrades, subject to availability.
Gold members must register for the AFL Grand Final tickets during the Club's AFL Grand Final ticket registration period, through Ticketek, to redeem their Grand Final tickets, subject to the Club's participation. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that they register for the AFL Grand Final ticket entitlement and purchase a ticket, and the member may not obtain a ticket if they fail to do so.
Entitlements can be viewed at www.crowsmembership.com.au and may vary from season to season, at the discretion of the Club.
The rights and entitlements of this membership upgrade are summarised in the Annexure, which also sets out details of AFL Finals Series ticket access.
3.8.2 Family
Family memberships are available for two (2) adults and two (2) juniors, or two (2) adults and one (1) junior (under the age of 15 as of 1 January during the Membership Year) in category 5 seating, and Season General Admission membership. 3-Game members are eligible for a family membership for two (2) adults and two (2) juniors only. They are unable to hold a family membership for two (2) adults and one (1) junior.
3.8.3 Junior
To be eligible for a Junior membership, the applicant must be 6 years of age or more and under the age of 15 as at 1 January during the Membership Year. Persons aged under 6 at 1 January during the Membership Year are entitled to attend matches without a Club membership, however they must not occupy a seat and must be accompanied by an adult.
3.8.4 Student
Student concession is available to members studying full-time during the Membership Year. The member must be able to present a full-time student concession card at the gate on game day (if requested). Failure to present the card (if requested) will result in the member paying a daily upgrade fee to an Adult ticket through Ticketek at the gate, subject to availability. Members must provide a copy of valid concession card when they renew or purchase membership, and must carry a valid concession card to all eligible AFL Membership Season matches.
3.8.5 Pensioner
Pensioner concession is available to members holding a current pensioner concession card during the Membership Year issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the Membership Season. Members must provide a copy of valid concession card when they renew or purchase membership and must carry a valid concession card to all eligible Membership Season AFL matches.
3.8.6 Companion Cards
Adelaide Football Club is an affiliate of the Companion Card Program.
Any member holding a valid Companion Card will be entitled to receive one complimentary membership for their carer (Companion Membership), in addition to their membership. The Companion Membership will be the same category as the membership of the Companion Card holder (or the closest available category as determined by the Club if the same category is unavailable).
Where the Companion Card holder's membership entitles them to access particular games (eg, Showdown Access or 3-Game General Admission), the Companion Membership will grant access to the same games, and only such games as the Companion Card holder also attends.
The Club may require a Companion Card holder requesting a Companion Membership to provide a certified copy of their Companion Card, and otherwise meet the Club's reasonable requirements, in order to receive a Companion Membership.
3.9 AFL Finals Series Entitlements
Each member’s access to the AFL Finals Series matches will be determined in accordance with their membership category and corresponding entitlements. These entitlements are set by the AFL, and are subject to the AFL's requirements for AFL Finals Series ticketing.
Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will endeavour to allocate priority access to the AFL Finals Series for each membership group as set out in the Annexure.
The Club intends that AFL Finals Series tickets for Club home finals at Adelaide Oval will be made available to members in Priority Group 1 before they are made available to members in Priority Group 2. Members should be aware that the AFL Finals Series tickets for Club home finals at Adelaide Oval may be exhausted during the sale to Priority Group 1, in which case AFL Finals Series tickets for such finals will not be made available to members in Priority Group 2. Members in Priority Group 1 are not guaranteed to receive an AFL Finals Series ticket. It is the member's responsibility to ensure that they register for the AFL Finals Series ticket entitlement and purchase a ticket, and the member may not obtain a ticket if they fail to do so.
AFL Finals Series tickets for Club away finals, whether played interstate or at Adelaide Oval, may not be offered according to the Priority Groups set out in these terms and may be determined by the AFL. The Club will endeavour to offer the tickets to members in accordance with the Priority Groups, but this is subject to the AFL's requirements for such matches. Ticket allocation for away finals may depend on factors such as the venue and opponent for the final.
Tickets to the AFL Grand Final may be made available to members listed in Priority Group 2 and/or Priority Group 3 for the AFL Grand Final as set out in the Annexure, subject to the Club's participation. Any such AFL Grand Final tickets will be subject to availability, and unless otherwise stated in these terms (ie, for Gold and Legends memberships) members are not guaranteed to receive an AFL Grand Final ticket or be offered the opportunity to purchase one. The details and terms of any AFL Grand Final tickets made available to members will be communicated to members by the Club. The AFL or Ticketek may operate a ballot within priority groups to determine access to tickets.
If any due and payable membership fees are unpaid by the member, the member will not be entitled to priority access to the AFL Finals Series.
The Club will communicate information relating to members’ access to AFL Finals Series matches should the Club be participating in the AFL Finals Series.
4. Transfer of Membership
Club members may transfer/loan/pass their membership to a family member or friend provided that the family member or friend is at the equivalent level of entry (eg, the same age category). Concession and Junior members who transfer/loan/pass their membership card to an Adult, or Junior members to a Concession, will be required to pay the daily upgrade fee through Ticketek at the gate on game day.
Daily upgrades are not available for tickets purchased for the AFL Finals Series.
5. No On-Selling
Club membership (including membership cards) and Club reserved seats may not, without the prior written consent of the Club or as provided for under these Terms and Conditions, be on-sold (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is on-sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member’s Club membership without a refund).
Eligible members may, however, make their reserved seat available for resale on a game-by-game basis via the Club’s Official Seat Return Program – refer to separate Seat Return Terms and Conditions.
6. AFL Member Upgrades
AFL members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfilment and finals access. AFL members who have nominated the Adelaide Football Club as their club of support may purchase a club reserved seat membership upgrade; or alternatively may purchase a daily ticket upgrade via Ticketek. AFL members do not have access to the Western Stand at the Adelaide Oval.
7. Payment
Payment of Club membership fees may be made in the following ways:
7.1 Full Payment
Membership fees can be paid in full via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, BPay, PayPal, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.
7.2 Easy Pay Payment Plan
Depending on the product being purchased, members can generally elect for payments to be deducted either:
The payment plans available may depend on the membership type and the date on which the membership is purchased. Payment by instalments is not available for all products or membership types. Some memberships or products may only be paid in full upfront. The Club may specify these at the time that the membership or product is purchased. As at the date of these Terms and Conditions these are Crows Digital, Global Digital Crow, Victorian PAYG, Victorian 3 Game, Crow Saver, Showdown Premium, Country Crow and Showdown Access.
Easy Pay payments will be deducted in equal (or approximately equal) instalments on the 25th of each month (or the next business day, should the 25th fall on a weekend or public holiday), beginning in October in the preceding year via a nominated VISA, MasterCard or PayPal account only.
By signing up with the Easy Pay payment plan, the member authorises the Club to arrange a debit of funds from the member's nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised.
Easy Pay payment plans automatically roll over the member's membership and payment each year for the following season. Payments are applied in the same method as when the member signed up, except when using the 6, 4 or 3 monthly plan, which will roll over into the 10 monthly payment plan the following year. If a members prefers to use the 3 monthly or 4 monthly payment plan for that year, they must elect to do so by contacting the Club.
If you do not want your membership to automatically renew, you will need to purchase the membership upfront (as described in clause 7.1 above) in person at the Club premises or via telephone, and specifically notify the Club at that time that you do not wish to be included in the Easy Pay payment plan. In that case your membership will not automatically renew for the next season.
Members can only opt out of the Easy Pay payment plan at the conclusion of their last instalment and prior to the first instalment for the following season by notifying the Club by phone, in writing or via email to membership@afc.com.au. To opt out of the automatic renewal for their next year's Membership Easy Pay Payment Plan, members must opt-out or contact the Club before 17 October in the preceding year, or such other date as notified to the member by the Club.
Members will be given at least 30 days' notice in writing of any changes in the new amount of their next season's membership and to the terms that apply to the Easy Pay payment plan agreement (as set out in these Terms and Conditions).
If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 25th, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer. members will not be provided with reminders or invoices for their payment plan instalments.
Members applying for the Easy Pay payment plan after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date.
If a member's debit is returned or dishonoured by the member's financial institution, the Club will contact the member via email or SMS requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to the member by their financial institution will be payable by the member. If payment is then not made within the next month, the member may also be contacted via letter.
The Club may deny a member access to matches usually accessible with their membership if the member is in arrears, including if a debit is returned or dishonoured by the member's financial institution and remains outstanding. The Club will notify the member via email or SMS of any such denied access.
If a member is 2 or more instalments in arrears, the member will be ineligible to use the Seat Return Program, but the Club may release the member's reserved seat to Ticketek for resale in the week of the next home match, and all proceeds of that resale (if any) will be retained by the Club and not paid or credited to the member. If the member's reserved seat has been resold, the member will not be able to access the match (or proceeds of the resale) even if the member has paid all outstanding amounts in the period between the seat being released for resale and the match.
The Club may suspend or cancel a membership or downgrade the membership to a different membership category if, on three consecutive occasions, the member's payment is dishonoured by the member's financial institution. We will notify the member if we suspend or cancel the Easy Pay payment plan arrangement or suspend, cancel or downgrade the membership.
It is the member's responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date or CCV change; (b) the member has sufficient, clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
If a member's membership is suspended or cancelled, the member will not be able to gain access to any matches during the AFL Premiership Season or the AFL Finals Series.
The Club may pursue any steps available at law to recover overdue membership fees, including taking debt recovery action or referring debts to a collection agency. You consent to disclosure of your personal information to any third party in connection with the recovery of any debts you may owe to the Club. The member must pay the Club's reasonable costs and expenses (including debt collection costs and internal, administrative and legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis) incurred in connection with the collection of any overdue amounts due to the Club or the enforcement of these Terms and Conditions against the member. The Club may impose (and if the Club elects to do so, then the member must pay) interest at the rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) or the highest amount permitted by law if lower, on any amounts overdue for payment by the member to the Club.
If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact the Club Member Services on (08) 8440 6690. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if the Club cannot substantiate the reason for drawing.
8. GST and Levies
Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.
9. Reserved Seating Adjustment
The Club reserves the right to change any member's allocated reserved seat, including in order to close gaps within seating bays or where required by the venue or the AFL. The Club will endeavour to accommodate any seating reallocation changes within the same seating bay, however this cannot be guaranteed. The Club will endeavour to notify affected members of any change in seating prior to the relevant match.
10. Refund Policy
Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and any other applicable law:
Club membership payments are non-refundable. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and the decision on whether the Club will provide a refund or partial refund to a member will be at the sole discretion of the Club’s Membership Manager. Should a refund be granted by the Club, an administration fee may be payable by the member.
Any partial or full refund of Club membership Fees will typically be processed promptly by the Club and may take up to 28 days for the refund to be received.
Members acknowledge that if the Club provides a partial or full refund of Club membership fees, the membership is immediately terminated and all benefits provided under the membership will cease.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or any guarantee or implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these Terms and Conditions would contravene any statute or cause any part of these Terms and Conditions to be void (Non-Excludable Guarantees). The Club excludes from these Terms and Conditions all guarantees, conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom. Except for liability in relation to a Non-Excludable Guarantee, the Club (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of these Terms and Conditions. To the extent permitted by law, the Club's liability for a breach of a Non-Excludable Guarantee is limited, at the Club's option, to: (a) in the case of goods – the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, the repair of the goods, payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of having the goods repaired, and (b) in the case of services – the supplying of the services again or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
11. Cancellation
The Club reserves its right to cancel a member’s Club membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these Terms and Conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club membership and/or associated benefits). Upon cancellation of a membership, all remaining membership benefits (including AFL Finals Series access) will immediately cease from the date of cancellation.
12. Club Member Behaviour
While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or AFL or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated.
Members agree to comply with the Club's Code of Conduct for members (as published by the Club on its website and amended from time to time) (Member Code of Conduct) at all times when attending matches, interacting with the Club, our players, other AFL clubs and players, the AFL and any AFL personnel (including umpires), or enjoying any other benefits of membership. It is each member's responsibility to ensure that they have read and understood the Member Code of Conduct and comply with it. The Member Code of Conduct applies to members at games (whether at home or away, and including AFL Finals Series games) or at Club functions, and when interacting with or in relation to the Club, our players, other AFL clubs or players, the AFL and any AFL personnel by telephone or online including on social media or email and in any other public forum. Members who breach the Member Code of Conduct may face penalties including cancellation of their membership without refund and/or a ban from receiving a membership for future seasons.
The Club endorses the AFL’s stance on vilification and has zero tolerance for members or supporters who abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, Club or venue personnel or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender or sexuality.
Club members who breach the Adelaide Oval Fan Behaviour Code of Conduct (as published on the Adelaide Oval website and amended from time to time) may face penalties including cancellation of membership without refund.
13. Years of Membership
A reference to "years of membership", “length of membership”, "ongoing member" or any similar phrase in these Terms and Conditions or on a membership card, ticket or any other Club correspondence means the continuous duration of the registered holder being a member with the Adelaide Football Club. Such terms are also used to describe a member whose name is listed on the membership and who maintains consecutive years without interruptions. Any suspension of membership will end the continuous length of membership.
A member may contact the Club to enquire about the length of membership recorded by the Club for that member. The member may notify the Club of any dispute regarding the length of membership. The Club may require the member to provide such evidence as reasonably required by the Club (which may include a statutory declaration by the member or conclusive documentary evidence) before the Club may choose to update its recorded length of membership. The Club will make the final determination of the length of membership to be recorded for a member.
If a member wishes to change the identity of a person registered as the holder of a membership, a Change of Ownership form can be completed and must be signed by the registered member. Once ownership has been transferred, all correspondence will then be sent to the new member. The previous registered member then permanently relinquishes all rights to the membership. Recognition of length of membership, ongoing membership, consecutive years of membership and similar are not transferred to the new member.
14. Variation to Club Membership Terms and Conditions
The Club may from time to time vary these Terms and Conditions including the Annexure. The Club will communicate any change to these Terms and Conditions via the Club website or email.
The Club may, without limitation to its rights as stated above, vary the Terms and Conditions of Club membership in its discretion, including where it is reasonably necessary to reflect changes in the AFL or AFLW competitions (eg, the introduction of additional matches or events) for which members may be granted entitlements, for changes in the law, to address new products or membership categories offered by the Club, or due to reasons outside of the Club's reasonable control.
The Club may cease to offer a particular category of membership or vary the rights or entitlements associated with any category of membership for future seasons.
The Club will determine how best to communicate changes to these Terms and Conditions considering the nature of the changes. You agree that notification by email to the email address held by the Club for the member, or publication of updated Terms and Conditions on the Club website, will constitute sufficient notice to you of changes to these Terms and Conditions. You should check the Terms and Conditions that apply to you, particularly prior to the time you lodge your membership application or your membership renews.
15. General Stadium Rules
Club members must adhere to all rules and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club member. Any breach of venue rules may result in eviction from the venue, and is a breach of these Terms and Conditions which may result in suspension or termination of membership. Smoking is not permitted at any venues. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on match day.
Security cameras may operate around and within any venues and patrons may be filmed, photographed, or otherwise recorded.
Patrons and Club members and fans at events, including games, may be filmed, recorded or photographed by official broadcasters and photographers and these images or recordings may be used without the consent of, or payment or provision of other compensation to, patrons for all manner of official broadcast or promotional purposes, including, but not limited to, marketing and publicity in electronic, web, print, broadcast forms.
16.Lost or Stolen Memberships Cards
Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club’s Member Services on (08) 8440 6690 and the Club will then issue a replacement membership card subject to receipt of the replacement card fee (as advised by the Club). The card will be replaced at no cost upon provision if a police report or a duly completed statutory declaration detailing the theft.
17. Admission as an Electing Member of the Club
As set out in these Terms and Conditions, the holders of certain categories of Club membership may be admitted as 'Electing Members' in accordance with the Club's constitution. The holders of such categories of membership may be eligible to vote and/or participate in elections or ballots in relation to the election of the Club's Elected Directors (as defined in the Constitution of the Club), subject to the terms and conditions of the Club's Constitution.
In accordance with clause 7.1(c) of the Club's Constitution, the holder of a category of membership prescribed in these Terms and Conditions as being eligible for admission as an Electing Member of the Club, will be admitted as an Electing Member of the Club where:
The Board will consider admissions of the holders of a category of membership prescribed in these Terms and Conditions as being eligible for admission as an Electing Member of the Club each year.
For the avoidance of doubt:
18. Wait List
As outlined in these Terms and Conditions, certain memberships will entitle the holder the option to join the wait list for a reserved seat membership. Subject to availability, the Club may offer members on the wait list the opportunity to purchase a reserved seat membership for the next Membership Season. Such offers will generally be made once per year, however the timing and details of any offers are at the Club's discretion.
Offers of reserved seat memberships are subject to availability, and the Club makes no guarantee that any number of (or any) reserved seat memberships will be offered to members on the wait list in any particular year.
A member's position in the wait list will be determined in order of the date on which they joined the wait list. If the member's membership lapses for any reason, they will be removed from the wait list.
If a membership is suspended or terminated by the Club, including due to a breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Member Code of Conduct, the Club may in its discretion choose to remove the member from the wait list, or downgrade the member's position on the wait list.
All payments for a member's current membership must be up-to-date in order for the member on the wait list to be eligible to be offered a reserved seat membership. If a member is offered a reserved seat membership and declines, they will remain on the wait list for future opportunities in the subsequent Member Season. If a member is offered and purchases a reserved seat membership, they will be removed from the wait list.
The Club may in future introduce separate wait lists for other membership types or upgrades, such as a Gold membership upgrade.
19. Members’ Privacy

By providing your personal information you agree to such use and disclosure by the Club and confirm you have read and agree to be bound by the AFL and AFL Club Privacy Policy.
20. Renewals
