About the Program

On the oval of the Adelaide Football Club: 105 West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes SA 5021.

Participants will rotate through a variety of football activities developed by our experienced staff and coaches. The program structure has been designed to support participants to improve their skills, build social connection and meet and learn from their favourite AFLW players.

  • Sunscreen and water will be provided

The best spot to park is at West Lakes Shopping Centre, followed by a short walk to the Adelaide Football Club oval via Troubridge Drive and Phillips Street.

Please remember to sign your child/children on the sign-in sheet at the check-in desk.

Yes, that is fine. All guardians must be confirmed by legal parent before the clinic or at time of registration.

There is one exception to the 48-hour notice period above and that if you child has unforeseen sickness. If your child falls sick and can no longer attend due to an unexpected medical condition or illness, please send us an email at community@afc.com.au. A refund will be processed once notified.

Yes, you may wish to stay and watch the clinic. Chairs and shade will be provided for spectators. We will also have Bodega Cafe open with discounted drinks available to spectators. You are not obliged to stay for the clinic, the participants will be under the care of qualified Adelaide Football Club staff during the clinics.

We can assure that participant safety is our highest priority and the following precautions have been put in place to ensure this:

  • Qualified community staff and coaches to supervise the clinic
  • First aid availability
  • Clinic caters to all skill levels and suitable for participants new to football
  • Weather policy in place
  • Appropriate coach-to-participant supervision ratio
  • Age-appropriate football activities with designated break/rest periods
  • Safe and enjoyable environment

Our hot and inclement weather policies for Train Like a Crow are in line with Sports Medicine Australia Guidelines and will be implemented accordingly. The Adelaide Football Club will communicate any plans in case of inclement weather or unexpected cancellations via email, 24 hours prior to the session start time.
