About the Program

Session 1: Tuesday 15th of July

Location: AFC West Lakes

Time: 12:30pm-2:00pm

Session 2: Tuesday 15th of July

Location: Brighton Bombers Football Club

Time: 2:00pm-3:30pm

Participants will rotate through a variety of exciting football activities developed by our experienced community coaches. The program structure has been designed to support participants to improve their skills, build social connection and meet and learn from their favourite AFL players.

West Lakes:
Please park at West Lakes Shopping Centre, followed by a short walk to the Adelaide Football Club oval via Troubridge Drive and Phillips Street. Parking in AFC staff carpark in not allowed.

Please arrive at the oval, 30 minutes prior to your session start time.

Parents/ guardians must report to AFC staff at the Crows Marquee and ensure that the participant is checked in upon arrival and Checked out by AFC staff before departure.

Yes, that is fine. All guardians must be confirmed by legal parent before the clinic or at time of registration.

If your child can no longer attend, please email us on (community@afc.com.au), 72 hours before clinic start time.

There is one exception to the 72-hour notice period and that is if your child has unforeseen sickness.

If your child falls sick and can no longer attend due to an unexpected medical condition or illness, please send us an email at community@afc.com.au.

Refunds for changes will take up to 7 business days to be processed.

Yes, you may wish to stay and watch the clinic.

Legal guardians are not obliged to stay for the duration of the clinic, as participants will be under the care of qualified Adelaide Football Club staff during clinics hours.

Where possible, chairs and shade will be provided for spectators, alternatively we encourage parents/ guardians to bring their own.

At West Lakes, THE CAFE SYNDICATE will be open for coffee and food purchases.

We can assure that participant safety is our highest priority and the following precautions have been put in place to ensure this:

  • Qualified community staff and coaches to supervise the clinic
  • First aid availability
  • Clinic caters to all skill levels and suitable for participants new to football
  • Weather policy in place
  • Appropriate coach-to-participant supervision ratio
  • Age-appropriate football activities with designated break/rest periods
  • Safe and enjoyable environment

Our hot and inclement weather policies for Train Like a Crow are in line with Sports Medicine Australia Guidelines and will be implemented accordingly. The Adelaide Football Club will communicate any plans in case of inclement weather or unexpected cancellations via email, 24 hours prior to the session start time.
