All Adelaide Football Club (‘the Club’) members who opt to use the 2024 Seat Return Program are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. In using the Seat Return Program, members acknowledge that the program is a membership benefit provided by the Club, but not an entitlement of membership. Members cannot seek to recover compensation if they are unable to access the Seat Return Program at any time during the 2024 season.
1. The Seat Return Program is only available for eligible Reserved Seat memberships.
1.1 This excludes:
1.1.1 General Admission memberships (Season GA and Bronze memberships);
1.1.2 Essential Crow (Unreserved) memberships;
1.1.3 Showdown memberships;
1.1.4 Family memberships;
1.1.5 Cheersquad memberships;
1.1.6 Corporate customers; and
1.1.7 Complimentary memberships (i.e., companions or carers).
1.2 The Seat Return Program is only available for eligible Adelaide Football Club home games during the 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. This excludes Gather Round, Finals Series (should the Club participate) and any AFLW or SANFL games.
2. Members who are 2 or more instalments in arrears on the 10-month or 6-month payment plan will have their barcode blocked and thereby be ineligible to use the Seat Return Program. Members will become eligible again once they make payment and contact Member Services to have their barcode unblocked.
3. Eligible members can return their seats using the online portal (via crowsmembership.com.au) or over the phone with Member Services. A member who sends in an email request will not have successfully returned their seat unless they have received confirmation via response email.
4. Once a seat has been successfully returned, the member cannot have their seat retrieved for that match.
4.1 Once a seat has been returned, the membership barcode is retired for that match.
4.2 The membership card (whether digital or physical) cannot be used for entry into the venue or for use of the seats during that match.
4.3 The membership barcode cannot be used for a seat upgrade for that match.
5. Returned seats will be released to Ticketek at intervals leading up to the game as determined by the Club and Ticketek. Members using the Seat Return program hereby accept that seats may only be released to Ticketek and advertised online with less than 24 hours until the match.
6. If a seat is successfully sold for a match, a credit will be issued to the member for their 2025 membership renewal. Any credit obtained through the seat return program cannot be substituted, credited as a payment towards a 2024 membership or paid as a refund.
6.1 For seats that are successfully on-sold for a match, a credit equivalent to 1/11th of the base price of the membership will be credited to the member’s 2025 membership renewal.
6.2 The base price of a Reserved Seat membership will be calculated by removing the $150.00 adult gold-add on or $90 junior gold-add on (if applicable) then dividing by 11.
6.3 The total amount of credit that can be earned through the Seat Return Program is capped at the base price of the membership.
6.4 If a member has received a discount on their Reserved Seat membership for the 2024 season, their base price and the calculation of their Seat Return credit will be adjusted accordingly.
7. Members will only receive a credit if their seat is successfully on-sold via Ticketek. There is no guarantee that a seat will be sold if returned for resale. The Club is under no obligation to provide members with a credit or any other benefit if their seat is not successfully on-sold.
8. Wheelchair Reserved Seat memberships are eligible for the Seat Return Program; however, the corresponding companion or carer Reserved Seat must be returned with Wheelchair Reserved Seat (if applicable). If the pair of Reserved Seats are successfully on-sold, only the Wheelchair Reserved Seat will be given a credit as the companion is a complimentary membership.
9. Members may only return their seats in advance for matches which have had the date and time finalised by the AFL.
10. Seats can only be released to Ticketek for on-selling for a given match if returned before the applicable cut-off dates below. The Club maintains sole discretion for determining weekly cut-off dates. Any members who attempt to return their seats after the cut-off dates accept that they may lose their seat for that match and still be ineligible for a ticket resale.
