Code of Conduct

Dear Members,

We hope you are filled with excitement for the upcoming 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season. As we gear up for another year, we want to take a moment to express our appreciation for all of our Members and the positive impact you have on our Club each year.

We love the atmosphere at every home game and take great pride in the passion of all our Members. To ensure a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment for all, we wanted to highlight our 2024 Code of Conduct prior to the upcoming season.

12. Club Member Code of Conduct

While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or AFL or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. Club Members who breach (as published on the Adelaide Oval website) may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. The Club endorses the AFL’s stance on vilification and has zero tolerance for members or supporters who abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.

At the Adelaide Football Club, we believe adhering to these principles will maintain a great atmosphere that enhances the overall experience for everyone. Your commitment to upholding these standards is crucial as we strive for the best in 2024!
